The 2016 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is dark purple in color. The nose is very pronounced with notes of dark cherry, vanilla, cigar box and a hint of olive tapenade. Full bodied, structured with a solid tension and layered flavors of dark blackberry, blueberry and black currant with crushed rock and cassis. Exquisitely integrated oak supporting the fruit profile of the wine with a hint of sweetness and vanilla notes. Nice acidity with well-integrated tannins, finishing long.

The 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a fine example of this and presents itself with a very deep purple color and expressive notes of black fruits, berries, five spice and cedar. The 2017 Pinot Noir comes from Reuling Vineyard, which is planted to Calera and a distinct suitcase clone from Burgundy. It has an intense garnet red color, and the nose is quite expressive and inviting with layers of cherries, bramble fruit, fresh raspberries, mountain herbs and hints of forest floor. The wine is full-bodied with a silky texture and very refined tannins — along with a hint of whole cluster tannins that lift the aromatics and freshness. A beautiful red fruit profile with pleasant layers of baking spices and red cherries. The long, lingering finish and nice acidity leave you with wonderful layers of flavor.

Reuling Vineyard — planted in 2000, this Montrachet clone vineyard benefits from cool marine influences converging from the coast yet with its west facing slope is exposed to and retains the sun for just enough time. The sandy Goldridge soils are ideally suited for this varietal, naturally stressing the vines which results in low yields and concentrated flavors.
